All indications are that the opposition has climbed down from their high towers and have accepted just about everything the administration was demanding that they do. In essence they have agreed to drop all their efforts to oust the president in the ongoing impeachment process in the lower House. They also agreed to extend the term of the president to match a new yet to be determined date where presidential election will supposedly take place. In addition the opposition agreed to keep the current Election Commission in place with the understanding (this can change) that the neck (the top two positions) will be replaced.
